Tourist Guide Nyborg
Nyborg city is situated in central Denmark in Nyborg municipality, on the Funen Island. This city was made one of the 14 large municipalities in 2007.
In the 17th century, this town was one of the three major, fortified towns in Denmark, the other two being Copenhagen and Fredericia. Many can visit the Nyborg Castle. In 1867, the fortress was abolished with the city expanding beyond the ramparts. The south ramparts got destroyed, converting to residential areas. The west and the northern ramparts still exist, having an annual theater called as “Nyborg Voldspil”.
It is home to the pizza place, named as Pizza & Curry. It was the first fast-food place here, and in 2010, it got Indian food at the takeaway.
