Laanemaa Museum is situated in the west wing of the city castle.
There are exhibits of medieval armoury, varieties of stonework and a number of rarities found here almost three hundred years ago.
These include the remains of the Pointer’s Tower which were found during an excavation at the end of the twentieth century
