Finland has a free-market economy which is highly industrialized in nature. The country is home to Nokia, the world’s leading mobile company. The largest industries of Finland are electronics, machinery, vehicles, chemicals, metal products and tourism. The average daily cost for a tourist in Finland (rated the world’s most expensive country in 1990) varies from 120 € to 180 €. Travelling and accommodation prices can be quite steep by most regional standards.
