The Natural History Museum is an independent research institution which functions under the University of Helsinki. This museum is considered as one of the three central national museums in Finland. Some of the collections at the museum include zoological, botanical, paleontological and geological specimens from all parts of the world. Animals are portrayed here in their natural wildlife environment.
