The Open Air museum of Seurasaari is situated on a beautiful green island and is a few kilometers from the heart of the city of Helsinki. This island is a tranquil oasis amidst the city and the museum has displays of traditional Finnish way of life. These include farmsteads, manors and cottages of the past four centuries which were relocated from all parts of Finland and was founded in 1909.
