Kauppatori square means the market square which is situated close to the sea. This square was formed on this place in early XIX century. It is also the brightest and the brisk city square where the market rustles and thousands of tourists from nearby port arrive too. This square is surrounded by XIX century historic buildings which are few remains due to the Second World War.
