One can get free internet access at places like book stores, shops and museums for about fifteen to twenty minutes but computer access at MBAR has to be paid for. This is a great place which serves food and drink and has DJs playing music as well. In summer, you may happen upon a meeting with journalists who like to ask the local community questions or their opinions about certain places. Get a Helsinki card when you visit the city as it gives you free access to public transport, museums, restaurants and more. The leading newspaper in the city is the Helsinki Sanomat which has an International English edition online. Be careful when crossing the streets as drivers can be quite inconsiderate and tend to go through red lights too. In the summer months mobile tourist information is provided to visitors at most tourist attractions by young professionals who distribute brochures.
