Biarritz is a beautiful coastal city that lies along the Bay of Biscay on the Atlantic coast. The best time to visit is during summer as the city is full of beaches and bustling with summer time activities. Biarritz is a major surf resort and the main beach, the Grand Plage, is the most crowded during the summer. Another beach called Anglet is easily accesible and is a surfer’s paradise. Visitors can also engage in site seeing at the church of Sainte Eugenie and a Russian Orthodox Church.
