Aéroport de Bordeaux-Mérignac is situated in Bordeaux and was initially used as a front line NATO facility during the early years of the Cold War.
The origin of the airport begins in 1917, when a joint civilian/military got established here. This airport presently has one terminal, having three halls.
There are daily and weekly flights to most of the European and international destinations other than to Paris and major French cities.
