Saint Jean or Bordeaux-Midi is the main railway station and historic building which was built in the year 1898. This station accepted trains from the Etat and PO.
Built by Choron and Toudoire, the historic building is worth visiting for its exceptional design. To see its large rooftop other than to travel from the station.
The rooftop was built by Gustave Eiffel, and is 56 meter wide covering 17,000 square miles. This place is the main railway interchange in Aquitaine linking the city of Bordeaux to Spain, Paris, Toulouse Matablau and Sete.
