This museum is one of the best ones pertaining to art. In other words, it’s a museum of fine arts in Bordeaux. It was founded by none other than Napoleon Bonaparte in the year 1801. In the year 1829, curator could obtain collection of around 280 paintings consisting of works from Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Dutch paintings went on to elevate public collection of this city to one amongst the finest ones in France. The year 1994 witnessed renovation of south and north wings.
