When to visit

Auvergne, a region situated to the south central of France is known to be one of the loveliest places to visit in the country. It is known for its large volcanic range in the Massif Central, central France and has the most beautiful unspoiled scenery in the country with vast open mountains and hills with forests, rivers and lakes.  This place is a paradise for those who love rafting, hiking, paragliding and canoeing and for inexpensive family outings.

Generally, autumn is the best time to visit this place, as it’s calm, sunny and warm with the woods filled with mushrooms, raspberries and strawberries. Spring time is also a preferable time to visit this beautiful region, and from March, one can enjoy warm and sunny days.

This region experiences amazing climate having low rainfall year round. Rainfall time is from April to May. The autumn time here is long and warm as well. With the month of December, one can welcome the arrival of winter.
