Brittany: Cities and Vacations

Brittany Vacations: information about the history of Brittany and cities.

Reviews

3/7/2010
Overall rating: 7

Brittany can be described as one amongst 26 administrative regions of France.
A huge peninsula is occupied by it in northwestern part of France; between Bay of Biscay on the southern side and English Channel on the northern side.
Rennes is its capital. Brittany, unlike remaining areas of France, has maintained an exclusive 'Celtic Identity'.

Scenic coastline, friendly people and a wide variety of good food available. The Cancale oysters are perhaps a little over-sold and the quality has suffered as a result. There are may places to visit from historic chateaux to modern museums and plenty of outstanding towns and villages.
