Parc du Thabor is situated in Rennes and a few minutes on foot from the Brittany Parliament building. This former garden of St. Melaine Abbey was designed by the Buhler brothers, the popular landscape designers of 19th century. It is spread over ten hectares, and combines formal garden, rose garden, open parkland, and is important for the Rennes locals. Moreover, it is known to be one of the finest gardens in France.
