Having founded in the year 1442 by none other than Nicolas Rolin, i.e. chancellor of ‘Duke of Burgundy’, along with his better-half, ‘Hospices de Beaune’ are amongst the hospitals running on charitable basis; apart from the other services to serve the needy. Having followed from previous donations, vineyards are owned by them in Burgundy.
