Our Company, Cheval & Châteaux, provides a wide range of riding tours around the most famous Loire castles.
Our tours will let you breathsless: you will enjoy the pleasure of riding in beautiful parks, forests and vinyards, on the Loire's, Cher's and Vienne's banks. There's nothing relaxing and exciting at the same time as a life of luxury in Cheval & Châteaux: you will be accomodated in B&B castles, enjoy picnics with foie gras, visited the chateaux along with the pleasure to taste the gastronomy from the Heart of France. Our excursions are coached by a state certificated staff.
Our hourses have been choosen by our strong desire to make your trip completaly safe. Your treck companion is choosen for you according your level, height and weight. The horses are mixed breed horses.
Horseback Riding Tour
From the large path of Boulogne forest to trails and vinyards of val de loire, we ride on Catherine de medicis, François 1st and so much famous people of that time footsteps...
Chambord, Beauregard, Villesavin, Blois... These wonderfull renaissance's castles bring us into the heart of French History.
Day 1:
Arrival to the B&B au château near Chambord.
Dinner and accomodation in B&B castle.
Day 2:
Chateau de Chambord - Chateau de Villesavin
AM (about 3 hours on horseback)
B&B au château - Chambord on horseback.
Lunch in Chambord in the Stables of the Maréchal de Saxe, horse show or Visit of the Chambord castle.
PM (about 3 hours on horseback)
Chateau de Chambord - Chateau de Villesavin on horseback.
Guided Visit of the castle.
Dinner and accomodation in B&B castle.
Day 3:
Chateau de Beauregard - Chateau de Chaumont sur Loire or Chateau de Cheverny
AM (about 1 hour on horseback)
B&B au chateau - Beauregard castle on horseback.
Guided visit of Beauregard castle.
Picnic with foie gras in the Russy forest.
PM (about 3 hours on horseback)
Russy forest - Chateau de Chaumont sur Loire on horseback.
Visit of the « festival des jardins » (garden festival) or visit of Chateau de Cheverny.
Accomodation in B&B castle.
Dinner in Blois and show at Chateau de Blois.
Day 4:
Breakfast at B&B au château - Departure or transfer.
