Tourist Guide Vilandry
Villandry village situated in Indre-et-Loire department is a center region in central part of France. This is a tourist destination located along the Cher River and is a site of a chateau.
This is a palace built by Jean Le Breton in 1532 and is popular for its terraced gardens, restored in the 20th century. Tourists can get to see fountains, a beautifully symbolic thematic designed formal garden having fruit trees. One interesting site is the 16th century made potager or vegetable garden having rare plants and vegetables. Though Villandry lacks services of transportation, one can opt for the nearest train tour services from the town of Savonnieres.
