Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims is the Roman Catholic cathedral of Reims. It replaces an older church which got destroyed by a fire in 1211. Many people know Rheims for its beautiful cathedral, Notre-Dame de Reims. This was the place of coronation of former kings of France. The cathedral is a historic building which also became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 along with the former Abbey of Saint-Remi and the Palace of Tau. Its construction got completed by the end of the 13th century. The three portals are laden with statuettes. The inside of the cathedral is almost 455 feet long and 98 feet wide.
