Reims: Attractions and more...
Reims has one of the finest cathedrals in all of France. Notre Dame is one of France’s greatest cathedrals and is in the center of the city, opposite the tourist office and on the Place du Cardinal-Lucon.
To make the most of your trip to Reims, it’s well worth visiting a selection of the champagne houses, mainly Veuve Clicquot, Piper-Heidsieck, Pommery, Lanson, Taittinger, Krug and G H Mumm which are in close proximity to the cathedral.
Reims' Museum of Archaeology and History is situated in the ancient Benedictine Abbey of St Remi, a beautiful building that is well worth a visit in its own right. Some of the other museums in Reims are Musee de la Reddition, Hotel de Vergeur and Musee des Beaux-Arts which reveals the ancient historic civilization of Reims.
The city also has historical parks located in the heart of the town. Park de la Patte d'Oie and Park Leo Lagrange is the two best examples of some tourist spots to enjoy time with the family and have some fun.
