Musee de la Corse is a fascinating museum in Ajaccio, Corsica. It opened in 1997 and is housed in former Serrurier barracks, which was renovated by Andrea Bruno, the Italian architect. There are two complementary sections, the “Musee en train de se faire”, which analyses the interactions between modern life and traditional life and the Galerie Doazan, displaying an amazing collection of items that were assembled by the abbot, presenting the Corsica traditional ways. For a tourist, whilst in Ajaccio, a visit to Musee de la Corse is a must visit in his things to do list.
