Orly Airport in Paris served as a major airport until the construction of Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
Some of the major cities in Middle East, Caribbean, Africa, North America and Europe are covered by flights landing on this airport. The airport remains busy with domestic traffic. It is France's 2nd busiest airport in terms of passenger numbers.
It has two terminals, namely the north and south terminal. Major spots in the city are easily accessible from Orly airport. A6 autoroute is connected with the airport. RER B train service offers Orlyval shuttle train between the airport and Antony train station.
There are some local buses which travel between the vital spots in Paris and the airport. These include Air France coaches, RATP Orlybus and Jetbus line.
Taxis can be a convenient and faster way to reach the airport. However, taxis can be an expensive, especially if they get stuck in traffic.
