Au Lapin Agile is a popular Montmartre cabaret, originally known as the ‘Cabaret des Assassins’. This name is of the owner’s son who got killed by a band of assassins in this precise place. Known as to be more than 20 years old, the place was a venue for struggling writers and artists. This place has a cabaret which presents French songs that dates back to 15th century.
