Paris in Two Days

In two days you'll have the chance, always following your inspiration, to experience the sights and the feel of the left bank of Paris.  More classical than the modern right bank where students, immigrants and artists create such a dynamic center!

On your first day you might start off with a stroll in the famous Latin Quarter, walk along Rue Mouffetard and see la Sorbonne, and have a relaxing time in the picturesque Luxembourg Gardens.  Youmight visit the Medieval Museum, too.

In the afternoon a not to miss sight is the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral and take a visit to the classic musum the LOUVRE or the MUSEE' D'ORSAY,where the spectacular Impressionist MONET's Nimpheas painting series are.  While it's true that Notre Dame is one of the most visited sights in Paris, there is a reaosn for this.  Get there early to really feel the emotion and peace of this imposing and holy structure.  The Louvre may be the biggest and most famous art gallery in Paris, but the Museé D'Orsay, built in what used to be a train station, offers a different feel and exhibitions.  A secret: from the top floor you can find one of the best views of Sacre Coure in the whole of Paris through a porthole window!!

When the evening approaches, you might head for the Champs Elieseès and you'll see the enchantingly lit Arc de Triomphe!

On your second day a must see is the Tour Eiffel, a landmark of the City of Lights!  Then the morning can be spent in the lively Marais quarter with a visit to the famous Centre Pompidou, and, after lunch, you might head for Montmartre where many artists live and create that unique and vibrant atmosphere this Parisian quarter holds!  For your last evening here (and a sure wish to be back soon!) you might have a gourmet dinner and show at the famous Moulin Rouge - or maybe just stop by for pictuers!  A cabaret and dinner at A La Bonne Franquette is also recommended and in two days you'll have had a real Parisian feel and experience!
