National Museum of porcelain by Adrien Dubouche is also known by the name Musee de France. This is a historic museum of Limoges, featuring collections of earthenware, porcelain and ceramics. The museum opened in 1845 and with agreement and request of the city, the French state took over the museum and its collections in 1881. This museum was one of the nine museums in France to test free in 2008. It has over 15,000 works. This museum is worth visiting whilst in Limoges.
