Lourdes railway station opened in Lourdes in 1866. At first, it was the link between Tarbes and Pau and diverted through Lourdes serving the people of the city. The Bures Aires station serves the Lourdes people and even permits the inhabitants of the metropolis to come and visit the city. There are many trains which travel from Pau to Lourdes and vice versa.
