Braderie de Lille dates back to the medieval era and presently known as one of the biggest flea markets in Europe. The Braderie, meaning open cut price market, is a popular market fest which occurs each year in the city of Lille. Held in the first weekend of September, it welcomes around two million visitors each year. This flea market event is also one of the most popular events in France and abroad.
