La Piscine Musée d'Art et d'Industrie is unique because it has been built in a swimming pool and displays works of fine-art, art and sculpture. The Fine Arts museum houses statues from the eighteenth century, archaeological findings and works of renowned artists. The Museum of Modern Art is situated in a sculpture park and houses the works of Picasso among others.
La Braderie is Europe’s largest flea market and is held during the first weekend in September. Almost all of the city’s streets are covered with stalls; music and other street entertainment take over the entire city.
