The castle has been recently renovated and is located in the heart of the city. The place holds special place in the history of the Nantes. The place earlier belonged to the Duke of Brittany. The castle has been now converted into the museum which showcases the new history of Nantes and a place for temporary exhibition. It also has a restaurant.
