The building which houses the museum is located in a former Money Exchange which was opened in 1875. Zoology, regional fauna and minerals are displayed at the museum. It is also home to various sorts of reptiles and batrachians. The museum was renovated and reopened on 19th March 2008. The displays of vertebrate animals are included at the first floor.
