Montagne Sainte Victoire in Aix-en-Provence

This is one of the landmarks of Pays d’Aix and is easily accessible by road or on foot. The village of le Tholonet lies on the southern side of Montagne Sainte Victoire and has a windmill and a mountain hut. To the north there are woodlands and the village of Vauvenargues. There are a number of paths here which lead to the priory and Croix de Provence, the roman viaduct and the man made reservoir of Bimont.
