The biggest attractions of Antibes are the beaches and since the natural beaches all have gravel, the sandy beaches there are manmade.
Antibes also inspired many a writer to stay and write their masterpieces here. There is a Musée Picasso which houses some of Picassos work and a museum dedicated to humour, satire and graphic arts.
From music to art, femininity to magic, films to fish and even a car rally, there is an event every month of the year and visitors will always find something to rejuvenate their mind, body and soul. There is also the famous Jazz Festival which attracts Jazz musicians from all over the world.
A visit to see the traditional wooden boats moored at the Olivette harbor is essential. There are also some enchanting walking tours that will introduce visitors to the history and beauty of the surroundings.
