Petit Palais was a palace of the archbishops of the city. Pope John XXII lived in the former archbishop’s palace. His nephew, Arnaud de Via constructed the new Episcopal palace in 1314. The façade is made in renaissance style and dates back to late 15th century. This historic building is a star attraction of the city and is of significant, religious, historic and architectural importance.
