Place de l'Horloge square is at the center of the city of Avignon and houses some of the outstanding Hotel de Ville with its grand animated clock. This square is well known for its ramparts and popular Palais des Papes and Pont Saint-Benezet. As it imposes majestic architecture, this place has been classified as a World Heritage of Humanity site. There is also a merry go round at the square and three interesting houses too.
