This city is very safe to explore, the locals are quite friendly. The beach is great and a world away from beaches in the US as it is topless and pebbled. It was a great trip and I will definitely be coming back. One note of frustration though is the occasional non-french speaker that may be your waiter, in which case it`s very difficult to order correctly; however this is a rarity. Overall I love the city and its people.
