Coming into Marseille, you'll be in the second largest cities of France and it's a real melting pot of different cultures. Indeed here you can also find many colourful markets that'll make you feel like you're almost in Africa! For instance, pass by Noailles market.

You can spend the morning in town starting at Notre Dame De La Garde, a 19th century basilica whose location offers also a spectacular view of the city, the islands of the Friul and the castle. You might dwell here to cherish the site, then stroll down to Cite Radieuse classified as an Historic Momunent as coming from the mind of the world famous architect Le Coubusier. Don't miss then the traditional villages of fishermen of Callelongue and Goudes.

For an historical afternoon, the old abbey of Saint Victor awaits for you; it dates back to the 11th century and is also the entrance to the old port, the Vieux Port, where you'll see many activities of seamen come alive.

As the sun goes down, it is a lovely venue to end such a rich and vibrant day!
