More than four miles of the most visited beaches of the French Riviera, in Nice beaches run smoothly all along the entire seafront. Like many other beaches of the French Riviera, also in Nice beaches are covered with galets. They are delightful hard marble-like pebbles enriching a precious overall view of the coast, well on the other hand flip-flops or...perhaps a more stylish French beach shoes are necessary!
The top beaches by Nice are often private; among those a quality private beach is Castel Plage located at the foot of the Chateau. As it can be imagined, private beaches offer a break from crowds for a most relaxing enjoyment of your special spot in the seabreeze, by the shore. As for food, definetely not to miss is hot goat's cheese salad accompanied by a bottle of chilled rose wine to treat yourselves thoroughly!
To make the luxury experience so real make sure you request a place on the premiere ligne and breathe in a cooling Mediterranean breeze, pleasant to have drinks brought out to you while enjoyng your time on the beach, still costly though, there again worth the while for the experience of your choice.
You can get the most out of both private or public beaches, one of the best free beaches is La Reserve beach; it is very small but so popular with shower and services available and a small kiosk at the entrance. There's a ladder going into the sea if you can't face pebbles! Very confortable in an overall view.
On one hand the bliss from avoiding rocks is offered by the private beaches: there are 15 along the coast, a tip for a cheaper visit to the best beaches of Nice is to settle in your own pad along the fence to a private beach and enjoy the music and atmosphere the private beach offers!
