The Ecrins National Park

This is a huge national park with more than hundred summits which are over three thousand meters in height. There are well marked trails in the park with a network of alpine huts, bold mountains with glaciers, a wide variety of alpine flowers and a number of hamlets and villages in the valleys. People come to the park for hiking, skiing or to visit the museums and libraries run by the park authorities.
