Tourist Guide T'bilisi
At present, Georgia, once republic of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, is with Armenia and Azerbaijan known as Transcaucasia.
Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia are its closest Countries.
On the Kura River as well as on the Transcaucasian Railway, T’bilisi,
founded in the 5th century,
is Georgia’s Capital City. The city extends over an area of 350 km²
where live more than 1.400 million people. During the years it has undergone
different invasions: Persians, Turkish, Arabs have occupied it.
