Among the most antique and interesting churches in T'bilisi are the Cathedral
of Zion, 5th century and Saintt David's monastery from the 6th century.
As a matter of fact, those who look for friends and enjoy a chat cannot miss

It is not difficult to get informed on what is on in Tbilisi!The cultural scene
is rich in events! Theatre, opera, sport, not to forget the rock music scene

Only on April 9th1991 Tbilisi became the capital of the independent Georgia.
Both the Parliament and the Government of Georgia, are here! Universities,
Theatres (the State Opera,the Shota Rustaveli , the Marjanishvili), Museums
along with the National Public Library, the National Bank of Georgia and other
institutions are housed here in T’bilisi.
Also worth a visit are the Narikala fortress, the Church of Anchiskhati, the
Sioni Cathedral, the Church of Metekhi, all between the 4th and the 16th centuries.
