Baden-Württemberg: Introduction and History
Baden- Württemberg is one of the 16 states of the Federal Republic of Germany situated in the southwest part of the county. It has an area of 35,742 square kilometers with 10.7 million inhabitants.
Stuttgart is its state capital. Baden- Württemberg was created in 1951 and is divided into 35 districts and 9 independent cities.
