The Cistercienserinnen-Abtei Lichtenthal situated at Baden-Baden was founded in 1245. It is the monastery church which was solemnly consecrated in 1248. The museum includes portraits of Baden princes, clocks, furniture’s, pewter and porcelain. Some of the interesting things worth seeing are in the chapel of Lord of tombs Irmengard widow countess, the high altar of 1510 and many more.
