When to visit
Bavaria is to the southeast side of Germany having unique diversity of attractions, unspoilt nature and scenic beauty other than romantic castles, medieval towns, traditional festivals, beer halls and excellent cuisine. Bavaria experiences an excellent climate, because of which it is the prime holiday spot in Germany, irrespective of any season. However, the best time to see the wonders that the state offers is in the summer season (July to September). In winter, the mountains and the foothills are covered in snow from December to February or till April sometimes - perfect for skiing. In spring, the landscape is full of blooming flowers, worth seeing whereas autumn offers gold flowers blooming. The month of September and October can be worth visiting for the Oktoberfest, along with other festivals to begin with. Most of the travelers find it convenient to visit Bavaria in the autumn season for this reason.
