Love Parade, a popular festival and also a parade which was originated in 1989 in Berlin. At first, it was held in Germany in an annual basis between 1989 and 2003 and from 2006 to 2008. The 2004, 2005 and 2009 editions were cancelled in Bochum. In an international basis, this event is held in Cape Town, Mexico City and many other cities. This event has roots to Berlin as it was celebrated four months before the Berlin wall was demolished.
