The Fernsehturm is a television tower which is situated in the city center of Berlin. Constructed between 1965 and 1969, as a symbol of Berlin, it is easily visible throughout the central and some of the suburban districts of Berlin. Known as the tallest structure in Germany, apart from being a television tower, it also has a restaurant and an observation tower.
