The DDR Museum offers the visitors a hands-on experience of the daily life of a state long gone, and the life in socialism. The visitors are welcome to broaden their knowledge in various thematic areas. They get to reconsider the existing clichés and have hands on experience of history. Some of the exhibits are there to be handled and few are kept in glass cabinets.
