Deutsches Technikmuseum or the German Museum of Technology was founded in 1982 in Berlin. With exhibits of historical technical artifacts, the main emphasis is on rail transport and many kinds of industrial technology. Recently, it opened a maritime and an aviation exhibition hall too. There is also a science center named Spectrum which is also worth of an interest.
