The Olympiastadion, known as the Olympic Stadium is a sports stadium in Berlin. The Berlin Stadium has 74,500 spectator seating capacity and is known as a Five Star Stadium. Built in 1934 to 1936, the stadium got renovated in 1974 and then in 2006 for the World Cup. The owner of the stadium is Olympiastadion Berlin GmbH. Its area has grass surface. The cost of construction of the stadium in 1936 was 42 million Reich Mark with its architect being Werner March and in 1974, its architect was Friedrich Wilhelm Krahe. However, in 2004, the cost of construction reached to 242 million. Its field dimension is 105 x 68 meters.
