Unter den Linden is one of the popular streets in Berlin. This street is a boulevard situated in the center of Berlin and is named for its linden trees which line the grassed pedestrian mall between two carriageways. This street runs east-west from the Brandenburg Gate to the imperial palace. It crossed the Spree River and continues as Karl-Liebknecht-Strabe.
