When to visit
Berlin is known to be the most affordable and one of the top destinations to visit year round, with major events and trade shows worth visiting for. The summer season is preferably the best time to visit when the families vacation and the climate is pleasant. The winter season, on the other hand, is slightly snowy and can be very cold, though visitors come here to have fun and enjoy the holiday festivities. Spring and fall do attract travelers from all corners of the world, who enjoy fewer crowds, with plenty of activities to do. The month of June to August is known as the high season with late October to February being the low season of the year. For those, who don’t mind the cold, they can visit in February for attending the film festival, the Berlin International Film festival. For low costs, many can visit in the winter. With attractive Berlin markets, Christmas activities and ice skating rinks for families and friends - Christmas is a great tip if you have a big warm jacket.
