Sanssouci Palace had been constructed to serve Frederick II, a ‘Prussian Emperor’; as summer seat of his. Sanssouci, in French, literally means: ‘no worries’. The park which adjoins Sanssouci Palace is, however, the ‘showpiece’ of this place.
